Leukemia ride, barbecue to benefit Andrews Helpful Hands

LEOMINSTER - Xtreme Riders presents its Leukemia Ride & Family BBQ 2008 on Sunday, June 1. The ride will leave Robinson's Ace Hardware, 1 Nicholas Road, Framingham, at 10 a.m. sharp and ends at noon for a day of festivities at The Eagles, 456 Litchfield St., including an all-you-can-eat barbecue, live entertainment by Tim LaRoche, Fingercuff and Stillburnin', raffles, prizes, children's games and activities, magic show, moonwalk, exotic animal show and more. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day of event (children under 12 are free). Proceeds to benefit Andrew's Helpful Hands, an organization that helps local families with children fighting cancer.
