Friendship Club to celebrate birthdays The Westminster Seniors Friendship Club will host a Birthday Dinner at noon on Wednesday, June 4, at the Westminster Country Club. Dick Partridge, who owned and managed, WCAT-AM in Orange and WCAT-FM in Athol, will DJ the event. He also writes a weekly column for Athol Daily News. For more information, call (978) 874-2445.

Council on Aging to host events in June

The Westminster Council on Aging will host the following events during the month of June.

A Blood Pressure Clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 5, at the center.

A breakfast and talk will be held Friday, June 6, at the American Legion Hall, 127 Main St., Westminster. Pancakes, fruit and coffee will be served at 8 a.m. followed by a discussion on the different options of "Reverse Mortgages" by Jeff Mitchell, of Worker's Credit Union.
