Forbush Library happenings in June

Forbush Memorial Library, temporary located at 100 Simplex Drive, Westminster, offers the following events during the month of June.

Story times are held Wednesdays at 10 a.m. (for children ages newborn to 2) and at 11 a.m. (for children age 3); Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. (for children ages newborn to 6); and Fridays at 10 a.m. (for children age 2) and at 11 a.m. (for children ages 4 to 6).

Scrabble is held each Wednesday at 1 p.m. All are welcome.

A free ice cream social will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7. Rain or shine.

Escape Artist Peter Vuono will be at the library at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14. All are welcome.

The Mystery Book Club will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, June 16. The club will read and discuss "Life Support" by Tess Garretson.

The Monday Night Book Club will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 23. The club will read and discuss "The Cabinet of Curiosities" by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.

The Summer Reading program will be held from June 23 through Aug. 6. The theme this year is "Ice Cream".

Trivia Night will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 26. Test your trivia knowledge with television, pop culture, science, history, geography, sports, music, movies, and the written word.
