Dance Center's competition team heads to Nationals this month

WINCHENDON - The Dance Center's Competition Team comprised of 44 dancers from 10 communities will travel to Hyannis to compete at Dance Ovations Nationals, June 23 through 28.

The Dance Center entered 24 new works into four regional events receiving Diamond, High Gold, and Gold medal standings, along with several special and choreography awards.

Dancers Brittany Pontbriand and Jocelyn Twine of Gardner, Jessica Falconer and Samantha Bonanno of Fitchburg, and Jessica Hebert of Ashburnham will attend the week-long event competing in the Miss Dance Ovations Titlist Category. Each dancer must prepare a speech, perform a solo and attend rehearsals during the week. They will perform a routine at the Gala Banquet on Saturday, June 28.
