Dancing towards Nationals

Alexa Bairos, of Ashburnham, performed recently at the West Coast Dance Explosion dance competition and dance convention held in Rhode Island. Bairos studies and competes through the JoAnn East Dance Education Center, and this season's team earned a solid gold sweep at three renowned competitions, also placing high score honors. At all three competitions the dancers placed for Nationals and Bairos was part of this season's record breaking award winning team. Bairos will be joining 30 of her dance peers, and about 125 traveling family members in a performance at Walt Disney World this Fall. COURTESY PHOTO
