Emanuel Lutheran Church will host their annual Strawberry Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 1200 John Fitch Highway,
Fitchburg. This event, sponsored by the Men's Group, will feature delicious strawberry shortcake as well as freshly picked strawberries for sale. Hot dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, punch, coffee and donuts also available. Rain or shine.
VFW Post 1807 will be distributing Buddy Poppies from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the new Wal-Mart, located on Route 117, Leominster. Your donation will be used to benefit local disabled and needy veterans, their widows and orphans of deceased veterans.
The third annual "Cruisin for a Cure" Motorcyle Ride will be held today from Cycle Design, 305 State Road, Route 2A,

Townsend Women's Club 36th Annual Strawberry Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Townsend Common. Pinestock, three hours of faith and music, will be held at 1 p.m. at Camp Pineshore, Wyman's Pond, Westminster.
