73rd annual Regional Exhibition of Art and Craft upcoming

FITCHBURG - The Fitchburg Art Museum presents the seventy-third annual Regional Exhibition of Art and Craft sponsored by TD Banknorth. Some 160 artists from the area and beyond will exhibit more than 200 paintings, photographs, prints, sculpture, textiles and other art pieces at the Museum. The Museum will also debut works by an area artists group, the Central Massachusetts Women's Caucus for Art who will present "Intimate Spaces/Selected Works." The exhibition opens Sunday, June 22, from noon to 4 p.m. and will run through Sunday, Sept. 7. The museum will premiere a new attraction, the courtyard café with Fitchburg-based catering company, Flourchild Catering will provide a prix fixe luncheon during the exhibition opening provided. Cost is $8 per person, no reservations required, serving from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The exhibition features a diverse range of creative works in all media. Painting, photography, digital media, printmaking, ceramics, and fiber arts are all represented in this wonderfully inclusive exhibition.
