Brewers Festival planned for Riverfront Park

FITCHBURG - The first Nashua River Brewers Festival will be held at Riverfront Park from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 28. More than 15 regional craft brewers will be presenting the finest beers and ales for $1 per taste in a commemorative glass to be given to each ticket-holder upon admission. All profits from this event will go to benefit Fitchburg Civic Days and the Fitchburg Riverfront Park Foundation. The event will also feature three local rock-and-roll bands - New Pond Fondle, Moving Pictures and Eastern Eyes. Bring a lawn chair to sit and enjoy the music.

Tickets are $10, and are available at the following Fitchburg locations: Mayor's Office - City Hall, 718 Main St.; Destaré, 320 Main St.; URSA - A Wellness Salon, 4 Ashby State Road; Hooligans, 29 Blossom St.; and Mill #3 Farmstand, 85 Westminster St.; Wachusett Brewery, 175 State Road East, Westminster; and Gardner Ale House, 74 Parker St., Gardner.
