Book Sale to be held June 28, 29 and 30

Are you in need of fun summer reading or books for the children? For three days, starting with Downtown Day in Ashburnham on Saturday, June 28, used books will be offered for sale at the Ashburnham Senior Center as a benefit for the town's Conservation Trust (ACT) and Historical Society. Ashburnham resident and event organizer, Louise Reid, has collected hundreds of donated books to be sold from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Children's books (lots of them) and picture books through grade six will be offered, along with many adult paperback fiction books and some craft, diet, exercise and cookbooks. Anyone wishing to donate additional books fitting the above categories may leave them at the Senior Center in the VMS Building, 1 Memorial Drive in the center of town.
