Rails to Trails is cleaning up
The Ashburnham Rail Trail committee is having a second Rail Trail clean-up on July 12, from 10 a.m. to noon starting at the Turnpike Road Entrance. There will be a sign. Volunteers are asked to wear boots and gloves and bring plenty of bug spray. George Gorrell of George of the Jungle has again offered his services and equipment to cut and chip brush that the volunteers will haul. Volunteers are asked to bring handsaws, brush clippers and weed whackers. Cold drinks and snacks will be provided.
