Tuesday, Dec. 23 8:04 a.m. - Motor vehicle accident - Rindge State Road Light Dept. called via radio someone just ran into their truck, no injuries Summons: Michael R. LeClerc, Address: 13 Chalmers St., Leominster Age:33 Charges: Negligent operation of motor vehicle

8:58 a.m. - Complaint - Depot Road Cell caller complaining about a crew tying up line to poles blocking traffic, said they were not official; Called Light Dept. and they don't have anyone on lines; Police unable to locate

11:09 a.m. - Suspicious Activity - Dunn Road Caller reporting black vehicle with Maryland plates going door to door; Advised ComCast is going door to door in the area

11:20 a.m. - Motor Vehicle Stop - Rindge State Road Summons: Kevin J. Hamel Address: 168 Mount Vernon St., Fitchburg, Age: 40 Charges: Unlicensed Operation of Motor Vehicle; Speeding

3:27 p.m. - Check Well Being - Center Street Call from the Light Department, they got a call from a party worried about their brother, the phone is not working at the home and he has not been heard from in days. Police advise the party is okay

3:33 p.m. - B&E (Burglary) Past - Cheshire Pond Road Caller stated his wife called and the tree has been knocked down and there are foot prints. It is unknown if anyone is still there

4:02 p.m. - Assist other agency - Harris Road Assisting with GPS braclet

4:12 p.m. - Complaint - Sunset Drive MART Bus driver states a Verizon truck is in the middle of the road blocking it and will to move, she is unable to back up due to road conditions.


5:08 p.m. - Complaint - Ashby Road Party had concerns about people parking in his driveway during the day

7:37 p.m. - Light Department - Tuckerman Road Tracktor Trailer unit caught the wires with his truck and pulled them down with a pole. Light department was called and everyone still has power, however the primary line is on the grou.

Wednesday, Dec. 24 2:50 p.m. Motor Vehicle Accident - Lake Road

3:50 p.m. Light Department - Russell Hill Road Caller reports low hanging wires by her house. Pages on-call light department

8:23 p.m. - Motor Vehicle accident - Lakeshore Drive Driver went off the road due to icy conditions, no injuries

8:45 p.m. - Hazardous Condition - Ashby Road Report of tree down blocking one lane; advised a good Samaritan stopped with a chainsaw and removed tree

Thursday, Dec. 25 2:05 a.m. - Complaint - River Street Caller reporters resident is taking picture of people's houses

2:28 a.m. - Other: Missing Jewelry Phone - Pleasant Street Caller reports missing jewelry, only one item was taken. He may stop in to department tomorrow, just wanted it logged

4:49 a.m. - Hazardous Conditions - Route 12 Caller reports tractor trailer unit parked in roadway; the truck was parked but it slid from icy driveway 5:24 a.m. - Hazardous Conditions - Hasting Road Paper delivery person reports large tree across road, On-call removed tree

10:28 a.m. - Light Department No power on Spruce Drive, drooping wire at Lake Road is hanging on wire on Willard Road, On-call informed

5:41 p.m. - Light Department 6:19 - Motor Vehicle Accident - Fitchburg Road

10:45 p.m. - Motor Vehicle Accident - Route 12 Possible in Westminster, confirmed not in Ashburnham

Friday, Dec. 26 3:40 p.m. - Domestic Disturbance - Lashua Road Caller requesting an officer to his home to break up a verbal disagreement

4:56 p.m. - Request to speak with officer Party wanted to file a report about some kids throwing a bottle at her windshield and shattering it on Ashby Road.

Saturday, Dec. 27 1:12 a.m. - Motor Vehicle Stop - Westminster Street Driver in to protective custody

1:59 a.m. - Hazardous Roads - Reports icy road, state and DPW responding

4:53 a.m. Assist Other Agency Winchendon Police requesting an officer to divert traffic due to wires down

11:06 - Light Department Live wires down on Water Street

2:16 p.m. - Suspicious Activity - Winnecowett Drive Party heard gun shots, nothing found

10:34 p.m. Complaint - South Pleasant Street Party state that someone made a fake Web site with a fake coupon to his store, the only thing that is right is the address and the phone number

Sunday, Dec. 28 5:03 a.m. - Medical Emergency - Four Winds Drive Transported to hospital

10:04 a.m. - Light Department Verizon tech calling referring their lines on Westshore are all running hot, requesting light department

10:08 a.m. - Assist Other Agency - Center Street Assisting with traffic

10:35 a.m. - Light Department - Westshore Drive Called referring pole in her yard had leaned since the storm but the past couple of days it is worsening

11 a.m. - Light Department - Willard Road, Fairview, Libery Lane Power is out

12:11 p.m. - Medical Emergency - Center Street Transported to hospital

12:15 p.m. - Light Department Power is out

12:33 - Assist other agency - Ashby Road Assisting Light Department while they string a wire across the roadway

2:06 p.m. Out on Investigation

5:22 p.m. - Suspicious Activity - Central Street Party stated there are lights going on and off in the building; Advised fire alarm is activated Information in the police logs are taken directly from police logs in Ashburnham and Westminster. The blotter includes all arrests to give area residents a snapshot of problems handled by their local police. The people who have been arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
