Seniors encouraged to support money for proposed center
      To the Editor: Westminster Seniors: You are needed at the Annual Town Meeting on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 1 p.m. Westminster Elementary School, 9 Academy Hill Road. We need to stand together for our rights; it took us many years to get a Senior Center started and now the town Selectmen want to take away our planning monies.

Library has many events as it reopens on Main Street
      To the Editor: The Forbush Memorial Library reopened on April 1, at the Main Street location, one year to the day after generous Westminster taxpayers voted the money to renovate the exterior of the building. We are delighted to be "home" again and look forward to seeing many of our regular library users again.

      To The Editor: The Ashburnham Community Church would like to invite one and all to join us for services during the Easter season: On Palm/Passion Sunday, there will be a "Pot-Luck" breakfast at 8 a.m. in the vestry, followed by a service in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m.
