      The Boston Red Sox kicked off their 2009 season with a win on Tuesday against the American League champions the Tampa Bay Rays (5 to 3). If you're a Sox fan, visiting Fenway Park is a great event — eating a Fenway frank and enjoying a game, especially if you are lucky enough to get tickets to a Red Sox vs. New York Yankees game.

A week after passing comprehensive legislation to overhaul the state transportation system, the Senate last week continued to push its reform agenda with unanimous approval of a bill that will tie off loopholes in current pension laws to end abuses and save taxpayer money.
