FITCHBURG — Janet H. (Batchelder) Nasis, 78, of Fitchburg, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at UMass - University Campus, after a short illness. She was born on Feb. 9, 1931, in Woodsville, N.H., the daughter of the late Alfred and Marion (Shearer) Batchelder. Mrs. Nasis was raised in Vermont and moved to the Fitchburg area in 1955.
