Communities to feel impact of cuts

Local town and school officials are not optimistic about the pending results of the state budget reductions, as they prepare to cut local and school services. The cuts Gov. Deval Patrick announced last week will decrease services both school transportation reimbursement, library funding and payments to towns in lieu of taxes on state-owned land.
