NRWA 40th anniversary, annual meeting FITCHBURG — The Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) will celebrate its 40th anniversary at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, at the Fitchburg Armory, 14 Wallace Ave. Celebrate 40 years of land and water protection, and 40 years of friendships and partnership. NRWA founder Marion Stoddart will be signing a 40th anniversary commemorative poster during the evening. Enjoy live music and a delicious spaghetti dinner. During the evening, the Association’s Watershed and River Club corporate members will be recognized. A special Forty on our Fortieth program will be presented to honor people and organizations who have been a part of NRWA’s four-decade success story, an anniversary cake and a toast to the founders and to the future. This 40th Anniversary event is sponsored by Nypro, Inc., Raytheon, and Rollstone Bank & Trust. Reservations are required, and the cost to attend the entire event, including dinner, is $15. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a reception and time to visit exhibits. Dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m., followed by a very brief business meeting at 7:15 p.m. The presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. For those who want to attend just the business meeting and presentation, the event is free of charge; an RSVP is appreciated.
