Jambalaya April 22, 2008 – Crazy Johnnie’s Steakhouse, New Orleans, Louisiana It was our third night in New Orleans and I was sitting in the middle of a southern steakhouse scanning the menu for something, anything vegetarian. “And what can I get for you ma’am, the waiter asked my friend Ella who was sitting next to me at the table. She nudged my shoulder. “Hey, you wanna split the overstuffed filet mignon Po-boy? Maybe some seafood gumbo on the side,” she joked.
