Ashburnham voters will be getting a new state representative this fall based on incumbent State Rep. Robert Rice’s (D-Gardner) decision not to run for re-election in November. So far three Gardner residents have pulled papers as they consider a run for office, according to the Secretary of State’s spokesperson Brian McNiff.
