A season for the Spartan’s ice hockey team ended Thursday night on the ice of the MassMutual Center in Springfield, but not before making history. The squad captured Oakmont Regional High School’s first ever State Championship for ice hockey beating Holyoke, 4-2, in the Division 3A championship.
