The Oakmont Spartan fifth grade girls earned a spot in the championship game this weekend at the Leominster Invitational Tournament for the North Central Mass. League. After starting out with a tough 21-16 loss to a strong Groton team, the Spartans were able to bounce back with wins over both Acton (25-17) and Leominster (40-34) before having to play a rematch Sunday morning against Groton.
