MWCC to Host Open Houses at three campuses
      Mount Wachusett Community College invites prospective students to attend an upcoming open house on Tuesday, Aug. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Leominster campus; Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Devens campus; and Thursday, Aug. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gardner campus.

Girl Scout Camp Wakitatina Reunion
      Former campers and staff of Camp Wakitatina are invited to a reunion on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 750 Rindge Road, Fitchburg, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Camp Wakitatina on Flat Rock Road in Fitchburg was open during the 1940s and remained an active Girl Scout camp until 1980.

      Mr. and Mrs. Brian Beaudoin of Westminster are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Beaudoin to Jason Baron of Ashburnham.       The Yarn Basket will hold its monthly Charity Night from 6 to 9 p.m. at there 12 Ray Ave., Fitchburg, location. The evening is a chance for yarn lovers to enjoy an evening of knitting or crocheting for many worthy causes. Participants can bring a baked goodie to share with the others as coffee, soda and water provided.
