Clark University hosts baseball showcase
      Clark University’s baseball exposure clinic will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14, with a rain date scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 15. The clinic costs $110 and that covers the college coach evaluation, a t-shirt and lunch. The clinic begins with registration at 8:15 a.m. and the event starts at 9 a.m. The morning is instruction by a college coach and the afternoon is a showcase.

The win in the Jimmy Fund Tournament improved Ashburnham’s record to 3-4 and dropped Westminster’s to 1-5 in the tournament.

Soccer camps to be held at Oakmont in August
      Zalgiris Soccer is announcing the 2010 summer camps that will be held at Oakmont Regional High School. The camps are run by Oakmont Regional High School Boys’ Soccer Coach Markens Benoit. A Foot Skills Camp will be held from Aug. 9 to 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The session is geared for players between 8 and 15 years old and costs $105.

Charity golf tournament be held for Sunshine Kids
      STOW — Prudential Prime Properties will host a charity golf tournament on Monday Sept. 13, at Wedgewood Pines Country Club. The event will feature a silent auction and Yawkee Way Party. Proceeds will benefit The Sunshine Kids, a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children with cancer.
